ABOUT PAUL DUVAL
Paul Duval is anything but an apathetic layabout or a lazy bum. Far from it, I used to work tirelessly every day as a copywriter, graphic designer, website builder,… my working days were full to the brim and I absorbed a stream of stress from my clients, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
One day in April, I suffered a burn-out
- It was a highly peculiar moment : my spirit was broken and my physical and mental strength simply gave way. All in one go.
I began asking myself fundamental questions…
- Why work so hard ? …I mean apart from paying the bills ?
- Why push so hard at work when it deprives you of the great and special moments life has to offer ?
- How to fulfil oneself outside work, no matter how exciting work can be ?
After a long black-out, I found the answer to my questions…
- I had to change my life, my name, I needed a fundamental change, inside and out.
- I had to earn a living differently, away from all regular notions attached to the world of work.
That’s why I decided to become Paul Duval, "Professional Sleeper"
